Just under 3 acres with a stream running down the side of it ( Ginger Bread Clough) Hainworth Wood is a semi ancient woodland with trees being on site since 1600 AD.
We have two main camp areas but campers can pitch or hang anywhere on the site.
There is a small toilet block on site with two cubicles and three stainless steel sinks for pan washing etc. The water is recycled and not drinking water. This has a combination lock on the door and we give out the code upon booking.
Campers can have cooking fires and there is dead wood for burning around the site.
We have vehicle access to the site at the moment it’s mainly 4x4s and bikes but we are hoping to improve the access track in time.
Everyone else parks on the track including small camper vans (Hainworth road this is a dirt road) by the gate way and walk into the site (please leave a gap so traffic can get through) alternative parking is out side Ingrow cricket club.
Camping Prices
£5.00 per head for adults no charge for children. Dogs welcome on site for free.
Other Activities
On site activities include bushcraft skills, archery, shooting (air rifles only), orienteering and axe throwing.
